Consciousness and a Computer program

Consider the computer program with the algorithm: start, do something, goto start. This program will iterate for ever if there is no external interruption.Consciousness is a program that iterate like this.

Even when we become unconscious this will not stop. Because we are able to recall events before.It stops only when we die, then we reach the state of cannot recall.

Our brain is active even when we are unconscious. It gives signals to breadth etc.

The activity of being conscious has one to one relation to a iterating computer program. We will be able to understand about what is consciousness by analogousing it to an iterating computer program.

A computer can be made a conscious being if it can run sufficiently complicated program that takes into account all its inputs and run a iterating program.

Casualty and arrow of time

I feel there is a direct link between casualty and arrow of time. One thing both can be phenomena of the human brain.If human didn't exist both these may not be useful concepts.

Casualty and arrow of time are both same concept or children of some other concept.

Arrow of time is the relation between some event B happens after event A. The other way round will definitely never happens. This does have a direct relation to event A causes event B.

Consider there exists an event A that causes event B - this is casualty. Then definitely event A precedes event B. This is arrow of time.

If casualty do not exist then there does not exist some event A that causes event B. Then we are unable to find happening of some event A that precedes event B. And no arrow of time.

Relations and properties

Properties are connected to the real world while relations are mental. TV and it's remote has a relationship this is pure mental. A remote emits infrared signals when buttons are pressed-this is a property, this is physical, this is connected to real world. But it being a remote of the TV is a mental process. A marble has physical properties like it is made from glass, it may have colours. But the concept of two marbles in a box is mental.
However, property glass or color are also relations. Our minds have the concept of glass from lot of experiences we had about the physical world.It is the same with color. Color and glass are concepts formed by multiple relations in the brain. Two is also a concept in our brain.In the end all properties are concepts of brain. So physical properties are all concepts of brain? So how to differentiate the physical world and concepts of brain? So what is real and what is mental? Is nothing real? Is reality inside our brain and nothing is real - idealist.

Our experience of the world.

Well there is a problem, consider a sphere and a cube both collection of quarks, but if these are only mental creations, it can't be, why is the mental creation different?
These two both have symmetries. But the symmetries are different, we attach different signatures to each.These signatures have attributes, that are mental.
About music it is much easier to think that it can exist without our brains. But, money it is much more difficult to imagine without human brain.

Problem of teaching maths

Current global problem of mathematics becoming more and more difficult to learn and less and less children wants to learn maths. The reason is maths do not stimulates young minds. Why is it? When you look into philosophy you get the answer. Maths is a priori. The meaning is, it does not come from reality it comes from pure reasoning. We know that one plus two is three. But we can't prove it. We may be able to show it with apples, one apple added to two apples results in three apples. This  is exactly the problem. It is absolutely necessary to show this apple method to a young mind for it to comprehend that one plus two is three.
The world has advanced from the day the  shepherd used knots in a string to count his sheep - the beginning of maths. Now the shepherd will be using a smart phone to keep his statistics.
Because of this leap we trends to forget the beginning, and more importantly using to show instead of stating maths. We state one plus two equals three and forget the apples. Strictly speaking the apples are not necessary for mathematics. Well, behold, it is useless only after we become conversant with maths. When we started learning it was the walking sick, now that we have climbed the hill we don't need it.We can throw it now. All little children need it, to start learning maths.
As advanced adults we have now forgotten the walking stick. The world has become so advanced it is difficult for us adults, to unrestrained the need of the walking stick. Then we also find that some young do not need the walking stick. They are quite clever to understand that one plus two equals three without the help of apples. These children can easily remember it. They know the addition table by heart. They also becomes professors in maths.
But what about general public understanding of maths. They understand it only superficially. For them the apples is a necessity.
So what is the solution?
The solution is create a trigger to simulate interest in maths. Use history of maths. Like bathing  Archimedes in the tub, running naked after discovery of the concept of upwards pressure equals to displaced water.  This story cemented the principal and I will never forget it.
You can always attach a story, the history how each principal came about. But there's a problem, teachers don't know the history of science. You teach history of science to teachers, then students will become good in maths.

War, Birth Control and health of Earth

We need a healthy earth to sustain life for, now and future. The animal population is controlled by predators and survival of the fittest.

But there is a problem with human population. Earth to be healthy can sustain only one billion, but now it is seven billion, and growing.

Spreading of democracies, diplomacy between countries, organizations like U.N. led to lesser wars. Further, countries becoming large and powerful with more and more deadly arsenal like nuclear bombs understands the danger of war. It may wipe out large populations and contaminate earth making life unsustainable.

On top of this advances of science and technologies improved health reducing mortality and increasing life expectancy.

Strangely all good things and values we appreciate is not good for earth's health and goes against sustenance of life.

Unfortunately the concepts like populating space that was in 1960s didn't materialize. It is very evident that even populating oceans and seas by making under water worlds is not a reality. All these advancements in science to utilise currently uninhabitable places have failed, even if possible can be done only in small scale due to costs involved.

The world understood economics much later then pure sciences. People now realise that certain things cannot be done due to costs involved. Actually certain advancements in science stalled due to costs. Definitely space exploration is one. Exploration diverted in directions where profits can be earned or at least targeted. The value of money is mostly responsible to these changes.

However, no-one still realise only by birth control we can overcome these difficulties. We should not live on dreams, we must consider the reality. It should be appreciated the policies adopted by China to control population.

Parliament and law making

The upper house usually consists of eminent persons from society. They are knowable persons from society capable of being law gives. The law making process should start from upper house. These laws should be laws that goes to the root of society not things like how to collect tax. This type of shallow laws should be the responsibility of lower house.
After laws are made from upper house to be democratic to should go to lower house. But lower house can either pass it or delay it, with maximum delay is the term of the house. The first responsibility of the newly elected lower house is to consider these delayed legislation.
Unfortunately the current systems are other way round. In such systems majority always crush the will of minorities. If such a change is possible we can have the will of all instead of will of majority. This might be a solution for the internal strifes in countries.
