Compressing multi dimensions to one

1,2,3.....is an infinite series. 2,4,6..... is also an infinite series. The total of both are equal to infinity. But strangely second one is not larger than the first one. Similarly there can exists a function that can transform each point in a two dimensional space to a single dimension. Similarly infinite dimensional space can be transformed to a single dimension.

Is this a contradiction? Can we transform space time to a single dimension. Or are there many Infiniti. Some Infiniti larger than others?

Dying man and God

A man was in his deathbed pondering about the life he lived. He was thinking, would he do anything different that would have changed the course of his life. God felt these thoughts of the man and appeared before him. The God asked do you like to relive your life again? The man started thinking, of course, why not. Then god asked, would you do anything different in your life? The man started thinking again. Then the man said no, I like everything that happened to be the same, I really had some good moments. Then the man started thinking about all the good moments he had in his life. Then he started remembering the bad moments he had suffered. Then the man said to God can I have only the good moments without the bad. Then god laughed and asked the man how can you separate the good moments from bad. All good was followed with bad and all bad was followed with good. Then the man said I don't like the bad parts, but, to have the good times I don't mind the bad parts.Then the god said, so you want relive the same life without any difference? the man said, yes. Then god said if it's the same life you are going to live and that life you have already lived then there is no meaning in living again.

Observer of universe

Intelligence, knowledge will not occur without an observer. Try to visualise a system of events without an outside observer. There will be no meaning in such a system if each element of the system were to analyse it's own experience and come to conclusions about the environment as a whole.Even if each element advertise it's own experience, you will need other elements to do the advertising - like photons, the problem is these advertising elements are also part of the system and there should exist a method to analyze the actions of these advertisers. On the other side, each element needs to know the whole universe which don't look very practical.

A better method is to have outside observers independent of the system to observe the happening of the elements.

This system will have elements which will be basic building blocks where action will be performed. Then there will be massage carriers that are independent of elements. Then there will be observers.
You can draw a parallel with a drama or a play. There will be actors who perform, then there is a medium that carry the message to the ordinance, and there is an ordinance that enjoys the play. The actors being human, cannot be barred from also being ordinance, but, ideally they should not.

The actors, ordinance and medium need to be independent. But like in a play they may be fused together. For instance message carriers - usually photons, are also elements, but the don't have a dual responsibility. When they carry massages the will cease to be elements. Most of the problems arise in a system when responsibilities are fused together. A good example is light signals in special relativity. They are the messenger but they are also elements.

Observer will have a memory that will record the events the elements played out. Then it will have the ability to identify symmetries in these records and compress the data. This will help it to use this compressed data to find out further symmetries and make more compressions. This compression and its symmetries are the knowledge. These compressions and symmetries are embedded in our brains are called knowledge. The more the person is able to find symmetries, the more knowledge he will have.

Memory alone in the brain will not constitute knowledge, when it is able to find symmetries of the memory and compress the data, finding more links in the data, it's knowledge will increase.

There is another twist in the observer. The scientific knowledge or universal knowledge happens when all the observers merge into one universal observer. This will give universal facts that everyone accepts.

Observer gives meaning to the system. Without him the system is just a random  set of events. Observer will find the patterns and the meaning of the system.
Observer can poke the system to obtain desired effects. This is seen in a play when the audience claps.

Observer may poke a system to get a response. There will be no difference between elements themselves doing something or observer poking the system. The difference will be observer can use the knowledge that he poked the system. This is casualty.

There are two kinds of observers, passive and active. Astronomy observers are passive they are unable to participate in astronomical events like birth of a supernova. An observer working in a lab say an particle accelerator will be actively poking on the elements being experimented.

The passive observer cannot guarantee casualty of events.
Active observer can state an event was caused by him. He will have empirical evidence that if he did not act the event will not take place.

We cannot ignore the observer and interpret the happening of events. Special relativity is a case where the influence of the observer is embedded in the theory itself that try to interpret events of moving frames.

Teaching Religion

Religion is a focal point in almost all conflicts between countries and communities.It means a persons religion is responsible for most of conflicts. Religion is very different from ones ethnicity or citizenship. Citizenship depends on place of birth and parents citizenship. Religion and ethnicity depends on upbringing. But there is a fine difference. Ethnicity depends only inputs to the person. Education by teachers and guidance by parents and elders molds us to be ethnic. Though the eyes of general public, religion usually is very similar to ethnicity. But two are very different. It will be same for people who are shallow thinkers. For deep thinkers it is different. The sale thinkers will accept without questioning what is taught. Deep thinkers will always ask questions. General understanding is deep thinkers are very senior mature lot, but it is not so.very young children thinks deep. Everyone knows that they are the ones who ask most questions.When they grow up they stop asking and becomes more and more dumb. This is the fault of the education system. The ones we respect and accept as bright are the ones who ask less and listen and remember more.

Artificial Gaia

The environment we live in gives us imperial inputs to navigate us making us dynamic creatures. 95% -may be more, of it is visual. If we are all blind our world will be drastically different. Visual inputs are mostly responsible for mobility of creatures on earth.

What I am going to propose is a system more advanced and efficient navigation system for creature mobility. Well these creatures are not organic they are computers, or robots.

The system depends on GPS tracking and wireless communication. This will be an advanced Google Earth. The creatures of this environment will get their bearings by GPS and accelerometers built into them. The system needs a centralised mapping system of the whole environment we live in.

These creatures won't need eyes or any visual inputs to find their locations. To know their bearings they will use a centralised Google Earth database and a GPS tracker to find their bearings.

One important aspect will be Google Earth database will be updated and fine tuned with inputs of its users. Then this database will know all nooks and corners of the environment. The creature with the GPS tracker don't need eyes to know it's environment.

This type of system will have lot of advantages over biological Gaia environment. Because the number of environment factors will be greatly reduced.

This method will be much faster in processing data of the environment and very much suitable for semiconductor electronics or even the next generation advancement of it.

These robots do not need eyes, or any visual inputs to get their bearings of their environment, but will be using it to update the central database for the benefit of others.

We might need a more accurate GPS system, with more satellites, that are helped with ground based units to improve accuracy.

These systems will first appear in transport, to have driverless cars, trains and aircraft.

The robot in my house will first track every static thing in my house and record the data in a central database. The dynamic things in my house will have GPS trackers in them they will be advertising their location to others. This type of system will be a complete system that gives out location details to everyone. This is an alternate to our vision using light.

This can be referred as next generation species over organic, a robotic system using GPS tracking.

Mobility is a large part of becoming a species. Location awareness and locomotion are the integral parts of mobility. We have already made vast advances in locomotion but we lack far behind in location awareness. This is mainly due to our efforts trying to
emulate organic species ability to use light to do this. GPS tracking is more suited for artificial intelligence.

Even with the current technology a localised system inside a residential home can be created. Wifi system where multiple transmitters inside the house take the responsibility of GPS satellites. Each movable item in the house will have a tracker, this will give location and orientation of the item. Each different type of item will be identified as universals-like chair, and then identified their specific attributes by a scanner-or better the manufacturer of the item gives the scan and other attributes and made available when the user buys the item. The manufacturer can embed the tracker in the item. The source of energy can be a solar cell. The house builder will give all the details of construction where the details of all the locations are made available relative to the transmitters. A reboot don't need visual inputs to work inside the house. It can analyze the data from transmitters and household items to do the work inside the house.

Contradiction of information in the universe

It it's a fact that information that can be stored in a chip can increase exponentially with time. Now a micro SD-card can store about 500 GB. With time this will increase. To our current understanding it will saturate when atomic scales are reached. But will it stop? It may not. The way technology improves, the increase may never stop.

This may lead to the scenario that all information of universe being stored in a point.

This cannot happen because universe consists of multiple points.

Our understanding of the universe may be completely wrong.

Even if you ignores the fact information of the whole universe, is in one point, the following scenario, information of one  cubic cm can be recorded in one cubic mm may be possible now. Even this leads to a contradiction. If we can store information of one cubic cm in one cubic mm, then we don't need the balance 999 cubic mm. If this 999 is doing nothing we don't need it. Then in practical terms it don't exist.

Something is seriously wrong with our perception of space and time, at least space should be something more than the information of spacetime. Spacetime is information we can perceive. Then spacetime should have something that we cannot perceive - may be, dark matter and energy.

Free Education in Sri Lanka

Free Education in Sri Lanka has made the country poorer. Not because money is spent on educating the public, is a waste in many forms that can be seen, for instance the lethargic teachers are paid for not doing any work i.e. teaching, but because of brain drain.

With free education poorer masses who cannot spend big money to educate their children are benefited. Problem is that the extra smart children, being poor will always try to go searching for greener pastures. They migrate seeking lucrative jobs.

Suppose there is no free education then these extra smart children will remain in the country. They may not do jobs that suit their special skills but being smart they will become useful citizens of the country.

With free education all smart people - mostly, leave the country. And only not so smart people remain in the country. After several generations the Sri Lankan public will become dumb even genetically.

The education system needs changes. Those who receive free education should sign contracts with the government to serve the country. At least this should be done superficially at first for children to understand what they are getting.

Critique of simultaneity and spatiality

Temporality and spatiality
If we can't get at least if we cannot get a foothold we cannot understand anything is not a good argument to assume something. We need to find a foothold, if we can't do not assume slippery arguments

How to solve the riddle of time?
Some suggestions. I will grow old no-one or anything can stop it. Some day I will die no-one or anything can stop it. It seems these are phenomena connected to human brain. Is time inside our brain?

Einstein's special relativity shows that time is not universal and it is relative to the observer. It means that it is a creation of the observer and does not exist outside the observer.

From biology perspective time have a direct link to cell division and cell death.

 Event counter is an absolute necessary attribute to have any kind of knowledge of spaceio-temporal events.

The counter is the link between reality and maths.

What are the attributes of the counter? The counter needs containers. Symmetry may give this. However, symmetry cannot be seen from within it can only be seen from outside.

Each elementary particle will decay after certain number of interactions. This is the only way for a counter to be present inside each particle. This is the only way that is possible to give meaning to the concept of time, before and after, or spatio-temporal universe, etc. But still there is a problem. Electrons protons and neutrons which consists of visible universe do not decay in time scales that are compatible with our perceptual capabilities. Therefore doubt whether it is possible.

Suppose radio active decay explains actual existence of time (i.e. outside human brain). Still there is a problem, because we experience time without radioactivity. Particle decay is actually strong evidence of existence of time. Even if so something is missing. We might not have understood it fully. In particle decay existence of a counter condition is satisfied.The statistical results of radioactive decay shows evidence of some underlying structure we still don't fully understand.

Simultaneously

The flaws of this concept in real life.
Lot of real life phenomena assumes the concept of Simultaneity.
It is easily shown that this concept is a myth. 
We cannot prove that any two events in the universe occurs simultaneously. 
We makes lot of assumptions in showing that two events occurring at spatially different locations occurs at same time. We use light signals as a medium of communication to show this. Though we use the principal of constancy of speed of light to do this, we trends to ignore that light signals consists of photons and single light signal is not a single photon but a bunch of photons that was emitted within a window of time and not in a single instant. And again we forget the uncertainty principal, and that it is impossible measure that, theoretically, two events happen the same instant using a moving messenger, because the uncertainty of the arrival time of the messenger due to uncertainty principal.

Well if simultaneity doesn't exist all the events of the universe should be able to be sequenced in a particular order. Strangely this is also not correct! The same problems when we tried to achieve simultaneity of events will crop up. It will be difficult to sequence certain events that happens within a short window of time. Principals of quantum theory will go against it.

The conclusion is that there is no simultaneity and it is even not possible to sequence all events that happens in the universe.

However, we know that when the window of time is sufficiently separated we can safely state that certain set of events happened before a certain another set. Practically we call this time. It seems that time is an entity related to entropy. Entropy is a statistical entity therefore the time as we experience should also be a pseudo entity that has no relation to the real world.
